Reporting and Analytics

The system generates detailed reports and provides analytics on various aspects, such as service performance, customer feedback, and appointment trends. These insights enable our client to make data-driven decisions, optimize resource allocation, and continuously improve their pest control services.

Login Page

To enhance the security and streamline the authentication process, Replaced the traditional system login page with an Azure (Microsoft) login page. This transition allows users to authenticate using their Azure credentials, which offers robust security measures.

Once a user successfully logs in through the Azure portal, we retrieve an access token from the Azure login portal. This token serves as proof of authentication. We store the access token in two secure locations: a local cache and the browser’s local storage. Storing it in the local cache enables quick retrieval for subsequent requests, while storing it in the browser’s local storage ensures persistence across sessions.

For each API request made from the web server, we include the access token in the request headers to authenticate the request. This approach ensures that the web server and the APIs are authenticated using the provided token. By implementing these changes, we have achieved a more secure login process, leveraging Azure’s authentication mechanisms. Storing the access token in both local cache and local storage helps improve efficiency and ensures the user’s authentication state persists across sessions.

What our clients say

“I’m glad to say that we have successfully implemented a Pest Control System project. We are running it as an intranet application in all our branches which is a great way to ensure centralized management and monitoring.”

Summary

Pestio, which began as a simple management reporting tool, has, over the years, evolved into an all encompassing web based portal where chosen administrators can manage employees, sales, recruitment, payroll and reports.

And depending on role, employees can be associated with routes, sales, work history and their individual payroll process.

This helped the company grow, which in turn meant the system had to grow to organise the workload of the different branches (Zones).
