Automating Onboarding with Power Automate
To streamline the employee on / off boarding processes, the experts suggested Power Automate, part of the Microsoft Power Platform. We streamlined the MSP’s onboarding and offboarding processes by defining each step and automating them using Power Automate. For onboarding, workflows were triggered by HR inputs in SharePoint to handle account creation, license assignment, group membership, and welcome emails, all with built-in error handling. Offboarding automation revoked access, removed group memberships, and archived data upon employee departure. Both flows were rigorously tested to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance throughout the process.
