An educational charity creating opportunities through learning and skills development

NOCN Group are an educational charity who aim to help learners reach their potential, and organisations thrive. The group includes business units specialising in regulated UK and international qualifications, End Point Assessment, assured short courses, SMART job cards, assessment services and consultancy.

NOCN Group had a test question app – NOCN Pocketskills – that allowed learners to take mock assessments in the 8 major trade qualifications. They were published on Android and Apple stores, however, due to a takeover the apps required some changes and their marketing team decided now would be a great time to give the apps a revamp.

Make it dynamic

We collaborated with NOCN to regain control of the app, refresh its branding, incorporate new test questions and categories, and enhance the overall user experience (UX). To bring it all together, we created a portal empowering their in-house team to efficiently manage dynamic aspects of the front-end, such as question updates and category additions.

Manage Users

Rather than access the mock test questions directly, we added a ‘User Management’ feature – essentially a log in feature – which allows NOCN Group to have an idea of who is taking the test, how long it took them and how their scores have improved over time. User can also see historical data of how they’ve scored, compare it to previous attempts and share with friends & colleagues on their course.

What our clients say

“Satva exhibited swift responsiveness to our inquiries and prioritised our customers’ contentment as a fundamental aspect of their operations. They promptly incorporated the modifications we requested and proved to be cooperative collaborators. We wholeheartedly suggest that others consider working with Satva Softech.”

Results

The NOCN now have a robust test app for learners to practice tests before taking the real thing, they can manage the app in-house, and their Digital Delivery & Improvements team continue to work with us to continue to develop the app.
